The Biggest Secret To Life

Day 152/365: The ultimate truths are not complicated, but simple, easy to apply and work like magic, every time

Mr. Molly Maguire, one of the best mediumers out there, wrote a piece about the most important truth he’s ever learned the other day. He used just two words to describe it, and to be honest, it hit right at home with me.

“Be grateful.

I don’t think I’ll ever get closer to the Truth.

Not in two words.” — Mr. Molly Maguire

You might look at these two words and act like I’m making a big deal out of it. These are just two words, this can’t be the biggest truth somebody can discover after years and years of living. But the truth is, being grateful is the hardest, yet most rewarding thing you can do.

Ultimate truths are simple, that’s why people never find them. People always try and find some complicated answers, when in fact, the real truth is simple, easy to apply and works like magic, every time.

If you are grateful for what you are, what you have and also what you don’t have, you simply are at peace. Being at peace with the world, with yourself, your material possessions, your relationships and everything else is the ultimate truth of life. And it’s only achievable if you are grateful.

Be grateful for your home, your family, your girlfriend/wife, your dogs/cats/kids, your car, bike, food, water, internet, grill, garden, etc.

Be grateful if you have less, or more.

Be grateful for the things you don’t have, like diseases, bankruptcy, death in the family, eviction and all of the things that could’ve gone wrong, but didn’t.

And if they did, be grateful for your health, your friends and family and whatever you can be grateful for. And if you’re sick, be grateful for being able to open your eyes in the morning, for yet another amazing day alive, the greatest gift of all.

By being grateful for what you have, you will ultimately feel the freedom that only comes with a peaceful mind. Gratitude needs to be practised daily, so whenever you get the chance, stop and be grateful for everything in your life.

Do it now, I’ll wait.
