Working While Travelling is The Dream

Day 127/365: And I’m currently living it!

It looks like a painting, but it’s actually the breakfast view. I know…

As you’re reading this, I’m probably drunk on prosecco and wandering around the vineyards of the Veneto region of Italy. Remember when I said I’ll do a two weeks long train trip through Italy this year? Well, besides being shorter than that, I’m counting the trip I’m currently on as a success of my 2018 list of totally acceptable and doable “to-do” things.

My dream is to one day get a plane ticket and leave the house for at least two months. I want to explore the whole continent first, before diving into Asia or the Middle East, for example. The idea of travelling and working is great for me and has been so ever since I was having a normal job.

This trip that I’m on right now is sort of an exercise for the bigger trip I’m planning next year. It’s a work and travel trip, as I’m very briefly, as in, writing on this blog, while my actual work is on hold until I go back home, but also travelling, although in the same area and mostly by bike and train. Nevertheless, it’s still a work&travel session and it really clicks with me.

This place is amazing!

I’m staying at this little pension/farm/guesthouse place in the middle of the vineyards. I can see a castle from the bathroom’s window, so that’s the first thing that I see when I wake up. I can also hear nothing but birds and the winds throughout the day. I enjoy the silence and get a lot of things done much faster than normal, for some reason.

I have to go now, I have some more prosecco to try. It’s free here. Also, the town that I’m in, Conegliano, has 3 or so sushi restaurants that are very famous in the Veneto region. All right, I’ll meet you back here with more tomorrow. Grazie, ciao!

Thank you for your time!
