Would You Rather?

Day 131/365: Would you rather be honest, or fake it?

Last night I saw “Would You Rather” which is a movie that is as poor in quality, as it’s great in plot and everything else. The idea is, there’s this idiot rich guy who gathers a bunch of poor people in a room, and makes them play a grotesque game for money. The last one standing takes the winnings!

At the end of the movie, I went online and searched for a list of questions that start with “would you rather…” and then, as the blogger that I am, I answered a dozen and a half of them bellow. Enjoy!

Would you rather always be 10 minutes late or always be 20 minutes early?

20 minutes early, for sure. I hate waiting, so why would I make someone else wait on me?

Would you rather lose all of your money and valuables or all of the pictures you have ever taken?

Pictures. I can buy a camera and take new ones.

Would you rather be able to see 10 minutes into your own future or 10 minutes into the future of anyone but yourself?

None, I don’t care about the future as much as I care about the present.

Would you rather be famous when you are alive and forgotten when you die or unknown when you are alive but famous after you die?

The first, it does not help me to be dead and famous.

Would you rather go to jail for 4 years for something you didn’t do or get away with something horrible you did but always live in fear of being caught?

I’d go to jail for 4 years, and then live the rest of my life as a free man.

Would you rather accidentally be responsible for the death of a child or accidentally be responsible for the deaths of three adults?

We’re talking deaths of three people vs. the death of one person, so I think I’ll have to go with the first choice.

Would you rather live in the wilderness far from civilization or live on the streets of a city as a homeless person?

Wilderness. I can always visit the city if I want to, but being homeless is much harder than anything else.

Would you rather live your entire life in a virtual reality where all your wishes are granted or in the real world?

In the real world.

Would you rather be alone for the rest of your life or always be surrounded by annoying people?

Alone.

Would you rather never use social media sites / apps again or never watch another movie or TV show?

I do just fine with limited social media intake as is, so I think I can do fine without it completely if I have my shows.

Would you rather have an easy job working for someone else or work for yourself but work incredibly hard?

The latter, I’m doing it right now and it’s hard, but very rewarding.

Would you rather be the first person to explore a planet or be the inventor of a drug that cures a deadly disease?

I’m a travel enthusiast, so I’d pick the first. I’m bad with Chemistry.

Would you rather have a horrible short term memory or a horrible long term memory?

I think I could live with the horrible short term memory.

Would you rather be completely invisible for one day or be able to fly for one day?

Give me that Invisibility Cloak, Dumbledore!

Would you rather be locked in a room that is constantly dark for a week or a room that is constantly bright for a week?

Being locked up in a room for a week sounds scary, so I think I’d have the lights on, although that would mean very little sleep for me.

Would you rather be poor but help people or become incredibly rich by hurting people?

I am fine with being poor, but helpful. Being rich sounds fun in the beginning, but I see nothing but troubles as life develops for rich people.

Would you rather live without the internet or live without AC and heating?

I have no AC and I’m fine, and my heating is always on its lowest setting, so yes, I’d be fine without them.

Would you rather have a horrible job, but be able to retire comfortably in 10 years or have your dream job, but have to work until the day you die?

The latter, no doubt about it.

Thank you for your time!
