Day 365/365: Well, how about that? I did it!

Hi! For those of you who are new around here, my name is Gabriel, I’m 26 and, as of today, December 31st, I’ve finalised the 2018 365 days writing challenge here on the blog. I’m a full-time content creator, blogger, journalist and Instagram amateur.

It’s been a good year for me this one, with its ups and downs, but mostly ups. This challenge has been though, but with all of the uncertainty and the fears, here I am, so close to the last dot of it.

The challenge wasn’t so much about writing amazing articles, because you can’t do that when you write every single day for 365 days straight. It’s impossible, let alone doing that with a full-time job and other side projects.

The challenge wasn’t so much about earning an audience and becoming famous. That’s not how you do that nowadays. You can be the best writer and still have zero followers if you don’t put in some of your own money in it.

The challenge was about learning the amazing virtue of patience and discipline. I wrote for every single day in the year 2018. Think about that sentence for a minute. Every single day, for 365 days, no matter what!

I had to write even if there was no power, internet, even if I’d have no time, even if my mom was in the hospital or my friend was in the middle of a car accident. No matter what, I had to sit down and write.

I’m a simple guy. I see a number, I immediately know if there’s something about it or not. Writing for 365 days straight, as a content creator, a writer, per se, is a pretty great achievement. I’ll cherish this year and always look back on it, whenever things go hard or bad. I’ll always have 2018, a whole year, during which I’ve been able to write every single day, no excuses.

Here is the final list of articles from this year, the 364 pieces, this one being article no. 365, the finale. For all of you who’ve read my articles, thank you!
