Vitesse are currently performing well in the Dutch league, and Loïs Openda has been in blazing form for the club.

Who is Ikoma Loïs Openda?

Lois a Openda is a Belgian international on loan from Club Brugge to Vitesse.
Born on February 16th, 2000.

He plays as a centre forward.
The 21 year old has eyes for goals, a good finisher. The Belgian started with his
rise from Club Brugge academy to playing in the first team. He made his senior debut on 10th August 2018.

He currently represents Belgium at the Under-21 level.

Openda didn't really have such a phenomenal campaign at Club Brugge, he was sent on loan to Vitesse in the summer of 2020. A very good move for him and Vitesse, but parties are gaining improvement from the deal.

The Belgian had a wonderful first season in the Eredivisie scoring 10 goals and providing 4 assists in 33 games for Vitesse. He also was their top goalscorer helping them finish 4th position in the league.

However the young attacker rejoined Vitesse on another loan spell for the 2021/2022 season. The Belgian is still having a fine form this season, already scoring more goals than that of the previous season.

Half way into the Eredivisie season and he is having over 10 goals and making his presence in the league.

His good form hasn't only been in the Eredivisie this season, the attacker is performing well in the newly created UEFA conference league. Unarguably Vitesse best player this season in my opinion.

Loïs Openda has represented Belgium under 16,17,18,19 and under 21 levels.
He may become one of the attackers for the Red Devils of Belgium in the coming years. The Belgian has been productive in the area of goals for the Under-21 side.

With his loan deal coming to an end with Vitesse this summer he would be moving back to Club Brugge, but maybe a solid bid from other teams may see him move.

He displays a lot of quality at his age, he may be an integral part of the Red Devils of Belgium in the future.
