Shaping Davos: Engaging Youth

What do Global Shapers do?
Global Shapers take action on issues they care about and positively disrupt global policy discussions. Each Hub is required to undertake a project that positively impacts the local community.

What do Curators do?
Curators are empowered to shape and lead their Hubs under the guidance of the community charter. Hubs are organized in an autonomous way and develop their own guidelines adapted to the local context. Hubs rely on principles of inclusivity, collaboration and shared decision making.

What is Shaping Davos?

Shaping Davos is a conversation that features local solutions to global issues. Shaping Davos brings the world to Davos and Davos to the world through a series of live events hosted by the Global Shapers Community using two-way live streaming.

In 2017 Shaping Davos connects 16 cities from around the world to discuss 4 topics related to the theme of the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2017 in Davos-Klosters. Sixteen community-wide local activities will provide viewers with unprecedented access to insights from cities and issues in every major region of the world.

The local activities will also ensure that the local community has the opportunity to move the issue forward locally.
