“Urban Animal” Challenge

Warning: This workout is not for the faint of heart

Today was one of those magical days where my music and workout jived perfectly together. Thank goodness too — today was one of the hardest hiits I’ve ever put together. So if you are ready for a full body sweat till you swear like a sailor kind of day all you will need is a jumprope, kettlebell and a barbell plate. Don’t be afraid to go heavy but don’t sacrifice quality of movement for quantity. If you’re hiitting this at home grab a jug of water and the biggest dictionary you can find :)

** DO NOT SKIP: Warm up for at least 10 minutes before attempting!!!!**

Set your interval timer for 40 seconds on and 10 seconds rest

Repeat set 2 times

  1. Switch lunge with overhead press
  2. Burpees
  3. Alternating kettlebell swings
  4. Burpees
  5. Skipping (2 rounds)

Rest 1 minute

Repeat set 2 times

  1. Reverse lunge to high knee (left)
  2. Burpees
  3. Goblet squats
  4. Burpees
  5. Skipping (2 rounds)
