OUR SUM IS GREATER THAN OUR PARTS

So today I have come to learn the importance of collaboration, through sharing various resources ,discussions when trouble shooting and asking of questions when face by a particular conundrum.
Day by day I am getting to appreciate the level of excellence, passion , integrity and collaboration just from delivery each task and exercise. Which is slowly transforming out thoughts through critical analysis with an objective approach to normal day to day interactions.
We are reminded that it is okay to not know everything, and encouraged to ask questions when face with any challenge and be willing learn how to apply what we have been taught.
The experience is slowly making us to adopt developing an open logical and critical mindsets towards real life day to day application, I have come to appreciate this rich budding community of dedicated and smart developer as they continue sharing valuable resources and dedicating part of their time in helping others accomplish tasks that they once found challenging.

From today’s experience I have realize that in as much finishing tasks is important, collaboration too is of great importance, as it molds us to uniquely identify areas we lack in, encourages us to seek help and to help those who are genuinely stuck and willing to learn.
The Andela boot camp gives us the opportunity to speak up and not suffer in silence when faced with any challenge, I am grateful to all the fellows who are at arms length, to help and guide those in need.
As the day ends, I’m confident in saying that I have learnt that practice is a habit, a routine, it does not need to remember but needs dedication and commitment. -“stay humble, stay hungry”
Surely, Andela’s values are not just for show, rather they are part and parcel of every thing they stand for. Before concluding this blog post i’d like to make a few mentions of appreciation to some awesome fellows and cohorts that I have had the pleasure of working and interacting with on slack.
Team #bc10teamrain!! , shout out to Margaret Ochieng , an awesome Andela Fellow who’s been guiding all cohort X teams by sharing valuable pointers and feedback and a special shout out to cohort X members Brian Rotich, Kevin Samoei, Bonny Mwenda, Allan Gogo, Chris Alindi, Abdikadir Ali and Judith who have been contributing valuable resources.
