Lennox 13, also known as Lennox Trece, is a notorious street gang that originated in the unincorporated area of Lennox, California, near Los Angeles. Established in the early 1970s, the gang initially formed as a neighborhood protection group. However, over time, it evolved into a powerful and violent organization involved in various criminal activities, including drug trafficking, extortion, and murder. The gang’s influence grew rapidly, and its members became known for their fierce loyalty and brutal enforcement of territory.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Lennox 13 expanded its reach, forming alliances with other gangs and establishing a network that extended beyond California. Law enforcement agencies responded with increased efforts to dismantle the gang, leading to numerous arrests and convictions of key members. Despite these efforts, Lennox 13 remains a formidable presence in the region, with a legacy marked by both fear and a sense of community among its members. The gang’s history is a testament to the complexities of gang culture and the ongoing struggle between crime and law enforcement.

Lennox 13 now consists of approximately 650 members, with approximately 250 members regularly conducting criminal activities. The “13” stands for the letter M and was added to the gang’s name about 20 years ago when it became associated with the Mexican Mafia.
