Very nice explanation. I’m a bit confused though. In our regular yoga classes, our teacher tells us to tuck the tailbone whenever possible, in most asanas, such as Siddhasana, Warrior 1 & 2, Tadasana etc. The only way the lumbar arch is enocuraged is in backbands, Cobra and other asanas that naturally require arching the back. Could you please explain eithere here in comment or in another blog post how to do the afore mentioned asanas and specify more poses that encourage untucking the tail?
