Hi Roy! Yes, please let D know I wish her the best. I admire her pluck and sense of self.

I can totally understand why she — or anybody would check out. Some expose much of them self and it takes a lot of energy and time to open up to the world.

Ahhh — and the negativity. No matter how much you try, sometimes it is like a car accident that you can’t look away from. My choice has become to only read writers and publications that I have found to offer balanced thought.

I just started a philosophy book last night. It reports on several studies where people were shown words and sentences containing either positive or negative meanings. The people who saw positive were — you guessed it — positive in the follow up questions. It was the same for the negative words — negative follow up responses. This happens unconsciously — the way our brains are wired.

If we are what we read (eat), I definitely want to go for the good stuff.:)
