I really have no idea how many people are members and how many are not. I’ll openly confess that I never joined because I felt slighted when I was among the last to be invited. By that time, many were saying it wasn’t worth joining and so I let it slide. If you decide to put your stories behind the wall (others already are!) that’s incentive enough for me to pony up the five bucks.;)

There is one thing about it that still bothers me though. Do you follow Mateja Klaric? She said today that because Medium chose Swipe, is it? over PayPal — writers from many countries cannot participate. Hopefully they get that straightened out.
