I’m not sure that the activity is as important as being able to let go of your thoughts. I run minimally. I’ve tried speedskating and cycling, but neither turned out to be my thing.

Also, I’ve noticed I enjoy my yoga practice much more in a group setting — rather than at home by myself. Maybe there here is something to the community aspect.
