You know, it’s not for everyone. For me, it was the first activity where I recognized how my body and mind can keep each other in balance. For some, that place is running, biking, fishing, knitting, horseback riding — whatever. It is an activity where I can totally shut down the “what am I making for dinner — why did I say that — what are they thinking — I need to go to the bank — I hope he understood what I meant — blah, blah, blah.” All I think about is breath and muscular energy.
Do you have an activity for that Sherry? It has the benefits of meditation, which I can’t seem to sit still for.
