I’ve managed 3 sessions in the gym the week, preferably I’d like a 4th session to get some cardio in but my boys attend some kind of activity every evening except one so that kinda puts paid to that!
First session was benchpress, I did 5 sets of 3 at 35kg, 2.5kg up from last week.

Second session was deadlift, I really didn't want to go today, I wasn't 'feeling it' and to add to that I had to go alone, I tried every excuse in the book to get out of going but I went, reluctantly might I add. I managed 5 sets of 3 at 62.5kg. Not a pb but I'm back up to my pb

Today's session was squat, I completely messed up today's session, I did too many wam up sets and started to fatigue before hitting my main lift, I also put 65kg on the bar instead of what should have been 62.5kg, I failed my first lift, I decided to wait a few minutes and try it again. I managed 2 reps at 65kg. I then lowered the weight to 50kg and did 4 sets of 5. (Due to fatigue)
The main lift in today's session was completely messed up, if this happened a few months ago I'd have probably had a hissy girl fit and wrote the complete session off. Thankfully I didn't and I completed all my accessories with more weight, it ended up being quite a productive session.

It feels good to be back in a routine, albeit a very hectic and busy one. I'm determined somehow to make time for that 4th session.
