Installing Kaspersky — difficult or not ?
At first you have to download the installer from the Kaspersky website. Double-click the downloaded file when it has finished downloading.
Agree the Kaspersky-Antivirus End User License Agreement by clicking on the respective link. You need to accept its terms to install the software.
I recommend that you participate in Kaspersky Security Network (KSN). If you accept the KSN Statement , select the check box below. Once you have done this, you have to wait for the installation wizard to complete.
If you are installing the application on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 you may receive the User Account Control notification. To proceed with the installation, enter your administrative password and confirm that you want to run the software.
Make sure that the check box Run Kaspersky Total Security is selected and click the finish button to complete the installation. It could be necessary to reboot your computer.
After you have installed and perhaps restartet your PC, Kaspersky Total Security 2016 should be running, activate it with your license. To activate Kaspersky Total Security 2016, use a 20-digit activation code in the Quick Guide Box that open if u start Kaspersky. The activation code has send you mostly by an email or is in the packaging of the software. Once you have entered it, your version of the application is activated and validatet.
One of the mature functions of the anti-virus is called “Web Anti-Virus”.
This function will block mostly everey malicious programs that can reach your computer over the Internet. For example: “Before you open a web page or a file downloaded from the Web, the application will intercept and analyze the object. If the page or the file is safe, you can open it without noticing the whole process. If you have downloaded a harmful object, you will get a warning and the Web Anti-Virus blocks the file or page”.
In the end I would like to tell you that the software has an functionallity that is updateting the software automatically. Furthermore I’d like to you why I wrote this Blog, at first I was given the task to install this software on Computers in the company I’m working for. Secondly my supervisor told me that this Anti-Virus will protect the infrastructur of our network and protects the computer againts viruses, and so on. Lastly I installed it on my own computer. While I installed the software I had some trouble, like the “.NET”-Version was to low, or the diskspace wasn´t enough or simply forgotten to agree the End User License therefore I wanted to write an tutorial and an eplanation why I´ve done this.
As always we’ll talk again, in a week — same time, same place, same wave.*
