But we do though. People are unmasked when the knowing their identity is important for gaining foreign intelligence. My aunt’s baklava recipe probably doesn’t make the cut, but if the conversation involves the president elect, that might be important to know.

Was there a legit reason in this case? I have no idea, and neither does anyone else.
