As an IT guy i do appreciate this article very much. Why? Because it says what I have been saying for a long time! And that is that Tech is not the only place that young people should go!

Besides when there are too many people going into one area the salaries will drop and the job positions will be harder to come by.

Which means In a few years you will see more IT Degree Starbucks Baristas making you coffee!

There are many career fields that pay well and need willing and ambitious workers to fill in the ranks.

One of them off the top of my head is Nursing! Which pays extremely well! There is a shortage of Nurses that companies are looking overseas to fill positions!

Which is good because not everyone will have the patience or dedication to learn Technology.

I know for me when I was in college learning CS my class was packed to capacity. And by the end of the year there were only 10 people who stayed and learned. The rest changed their majors!

Like I said not everyone is cut out to be a Computer Guy or Gal

I also believe that having a background in Technology can open doors for a lot of other career fields. Since the majority of them have some tech in it.

In the end I guess we will all work for Google and Microsoft! Lol
