Most art displays are intended merely for the art patrons for only they can comprehend the essence of the art works on display and determine its value. But not the Kochi Muziris Biennale 2016… The quintessential artworks on display are intended for those who can appreciate or admire beautiful works crafted to perfection from human hands. All are stunned in appreciation with the caliber of renowned artists flaunting their skills. One such excellent artwork at Kochi Muziris Biennale 2016 is Earth. The joint art works of five artists on the Earth theme is on display in the Kochi Muziris Biennale 2016. Warm play of colours, brilliant paintings are turning the exhibition to a marvel for all visitors and viewers. The artists are Gulam Muhammed Sheikh, Sudhir Patwardhan, Rimzon N N and Sujith S N. These artists have in their own way captured realistic image of the various attributes of Earth, the human activity on Earth using supple and warm shades. The stunning collection captures splendid portraits of the Earth that no one has ever seen or imagined. They focus on the elements of the Earth and capture them exactly in their artworks.

The art show is truly a tribute to our life on the planet and it justifies the planet as the right destination to live with temperate climate and living atmosphere. Earth has been the inspiration to maximum Indian artists and newer artists experiment their caliber in forming the portrait Earth and its life. The expressive artists are capturing brilliant shots of Earth and its vivid shades. This art display curated by Rajan Krishnan is among the best portraits of the Earth captured by talented artists. The artists have captured the images of the green environs and also the warfare or colonialism affecting the human civilization living independently on the Earth. The rare blend of colours includes shades that are almost not seen ever before. Sudhir also focused on the deprived in his paintings titled Lame man. Yes…we really cannot forget that the crippled or lame are part of the human community and the Earth. The other four artists are also not left behind with their exceptional contributions. Curator Rajan Krishnan had some exclusive artworks such as Blank Peasantry which is a work of Acrylic on Canvas. The theme Earth is saturated with sample paintings and the five artists have justified the theme with most perfect works of art.
