There’s another side to some of these languages; how easy it is to get it wrong and not realise it.

Languages like C and C++ are the scalpel of coding; very powerful but very easy to screw it up with the likes of memory leaks and not realise it.

I find languages like Java and most of the scripting languages to be more like a knife from a kids tea set; impossible to do much damage but at the cost of control over how your code works. C# is somewhere in the middle.
