Galxe Integrates with Moonbeam Network
Galxe, previously Project Galaxy has been working on a few exciting things this summer and we can finally reveal that we are now integrated with the Moonbeam platform!
Moonbeam is a smart contract platform for building cross-chain connected applications that unites functionality from many blockchains into a single platform, including Ethereum, Cosmos, Polkadot, and more. Moonbeam solves today’s fragmented user experience — unlocking true interoperability and paving the way for the next generation of decentralized applications. The Moonbeam platform uses integrated cross-chain messaging to allow developers to create smart contracts that access services across many remote blockchains. This approach, plus Moonbeam’s developer-friendly EVM platform, vast tool support, and modern Substrate architecture, creates the ideal development environment for building connected applications.
Deploying on the Moonbeam platform is a huge milestone for Galxe because it enables a new Web3 community experience for the Moonbeam and greater Polkadot ecosystems. This integration means that Moonbeam-based smart contracts and tokens can be used with the Galxe platform. Now, projects built on Moonbeam can create and run user-focused campaigns and giveaways through Galxe, giving them more inventive ways to earn new audiences and engage with their communities.
Moonbeam is a parachain on Polkadot, which was built to connect chains and networks in a way that individual layer one blockchains can exchange data in a trustworthy way through the Polkadot Relay Chain. Their vision is to empower developers to build systems where privacy reigns supreme and the dream of a decentralized web is a tangible reality. This platform thrives off of a multichain, secure ecosystem of specialized blockchains called parachains. This system allows DApps and services on Polkadot to communicate across chains without fear of security or privacy infringement. Backed by this kind of security, Polkadot forms the basis for a true decentralized Web3 space.

With this deployment, Galxe has the potential to increase traffic to the Polkadot ecosystem by helping projects on Moonbeam to grow in both brand awareness and community engagement. This integration with the Moonbeam platform and Polkadot ecosystem is just the beginning. Developments for plans such as integrating Polkadot indexing protocols and cross-chain development branching out from Moonbeam will surely be in the works in the coming months.
