GAME DOSI is the first Web3 game platform by LINE NEXT and aims to become a game- and user-oriented next-generation game platform with the slogan “Gamers First, Web3 Next.”
The branding page of GAME DOSI was released as the first step toward achieving this goal. This branding page being released prior to the official launch will be the first greeting to gamers around the world as well as the initial link between game developers and GAME DOSI.

In the future, through this medium channel, we plan to communicate by delivering various announcements and events, including the general business introductions of GAME DOSI. The first post will be an introduction to the background of the birth of GAME DOSI, its features, and the first offline GAME DOSI event to be held in Busan, Korea for two days from November 17th to 18th.
GAME DOSI Establishment Background
On November 10th, on the Medium Channel of LINE Blockchain, an interview was held with Kiwoong Han, the business leader of GAME DOSI. An excerpt from the interview will be used to share the background and direction that led to the conception of GAME DOSI.
“With the advent of Web3 games, the gaming landscape has changed to a form that was compatible with new technologies. In the past, enjoying the game was all that mattered, but now, gamers can use NFTs to convert and possess their processes and results, including the time spent they playing the game. This is why Kiwoong Han, the leader of the Gamefi Lab at LINE NEXT, created the Gamefi Lab with the key members researching the combination of blockchain technology and games for 3 years. It was judged that a real Web3-based blockchain game could be released instead of a simple mining-type game. Also, the goal of preoccupying the market with a focus on virtual assets, Web3, and games was the background behind the birth of the Gamefi Lab or GAME DOSI.
GAME DOSI aims to be a medium through which developers and gamers can communicate directly and build trust. Currently, it is difficult for developers to directly hear the voices of gamers, and it is difficult for gamers to have their opinions heard. However, through the accumulated user play data in the blockchain, the Web3 games made by GAME DOSI are expected to help support recognition and immediate responses by developers while gamers play games, helping to expand the scope of gaming as a whole.
