Luna Rush

Luna Rush is a role-playing game (RPG) with autobattle mechanics based on blockchain technology, in Japanese anime style. It was developed by a Vietnamese company with the support of Helios Entertainment. At the moment the game is browser-based, but in the fall developers promise to release a version for Android and iOS.

In Luna Rush players can fight with other players, with bosses, team up with friends, win tournaments and earn money through strategy and luck.

The game features 11 warriors, each with their own story. Each of the heroes has unique skills. There are three modes in the game: boss battle, PVP, tournament. At this stage of the game’s development, the boss battle mode is available. You’ll need at least 1 hero to start the game (their cost starts at $2). There is no marketplace with heroes in the game yet, so you can only get a hero by buying a pack.

April 19 we have a new game mode — PVP! Now you can fight not only with bosses, but also with other players. Learn more about PVP mode in our other article.

Luna Rush is a copy of the free mobile game “Auto arena”, which can be found on Play market. All the content that is described in the Luna Rush roadmap is available in Auto Arena. However, the mechanics in the games are different. Auto Arena is also developed with the support of Helios Entertainment.

Game mechanics

Luna Rush welcomes us with a colorful interface. Let’s take a look at what’s on the main menu.

1. Library. In this tab, you can explore each hero’s history, skills, weapon strength, and the strength and health of your pets in detail.
2. Heroes. All of your heroes will be located here.
3. Exchange. The main game token is LUS, you can use it to buy a pack with a character, but to level up your hero you’ll need an in-game token mLUS. You can get it by collecting rewards in the game or exchanging in this exchanger. At this stage of development you can exchange mLUS to LUS, the reverse exchange will be available later.
4. Store. This is where you can buy packs with heroes.
5. Inventory. Your unopened packs are stored in inventory.
6. Referral Program. This tab contains your referral link, but it appears only if you have more than 15 heroes.

The referral system works by giving your friends a code that they use when they buy boxes in the game for 22 LUS. For every 10 boxes that your friend bought, you get 1 box for 22 LUS for free. The number of referrals is unlimited.

Packs

It is important to be able to identify the packs because of the mechanics that are introduced into the game with them (such as the referral program, but their names are not listed in the game).

Luna Rush has three types of packs with heroes:

• small box for 15 LUS;
• big box for 22 LUS;
• megabox.

Small box, big box — the packs with only one hero with different chances of falling out.

Megaboxes — packs with two heroes with 3 times greater chance of dropping out a rarer hero than in-game packs. Heroes drop in rarity Rare or higher. You could get megaboxes for stacking LUS for a limited time.

Now you can buy them on the market for 999 LUS (March 23). Discord has buy-offers and sell-offers sections, where they sell and buy megaboxes 2–3 times cheaper than on the marketplace.

Rarity

The higher the rarity of a character, the stronger they are, as well as having more abilities. For example, common have only 1 ability, can’t land more than one hit, can’t block or dodge enemy hits. There are only 200 divine heroes in Luna Rush.

Minting

In Luna Rush, it is possible to improve the rarity of a character by minting. To do this, you need to select the character you want to upgrade. Then choose 2 other characters (you can have one, but the chance of upgrading is minimal) that you want to sacrifice. Then everything depends only on luck.

For example, to upgrade a card to Epic, take a hero with the rarity Elit. If we sacrifice 2 common, the chance of upgrading to Epic is 34%, if 2 Rare — 52%, if 2 Elite — 66%. If we’re unlucky, the card stays in the same rarity as it was before.

A certain amount of mLUS is needed for minting. To improve to Rare — 1 mLUS, to Elit — 3 mLUS, to Epic — 5 mLUS, etc.

You can upgrade the rarity of a hero only to Legendary, Mythic and Divine heroes that can only be obtained from packs.

ROI

This is a mechanic in the game that automatically counts the payback based on the tokens invested. For example, you spend a certain amount of tokens in the game, and they go to your investment. Let’s say you invested 100 tokens. The first 100 tokens you will farm with a 100% reward from the chests. After all investments will pay off, up to x2, you will receive 75% reward (i.e. instead of 0.19 you will receive 0.1425). Information about investments is updated every 5 minutes.

The daily quest is currently not in the game.

Event. Players can bet using mLUS and predict the outcome of a battle between two warriors. There is 1 match every 2 hours, bets are accepted 3 minutes before the start of the battle. The minimum bet is 1 mLUS. Bonus is 9%.

Game modes

There are three game modes in Luna Rush: Boss Battle, PVP (battle against other players) and Tournament.

Boss Battle(PVE)

In order to start the battle with the boss, you have to choose three heroes (you can choose one, but the efficiency will be very low).

The battle proceeds in autobattle format, i.e. you don’t need to be directly involved during the battle, your heroes fight on their own.

There are 40 bosses in the game, each boss has 10 levels. Killing the first boss opens up the opportunity to fight the second boss and so on. After your heroes are losing a fight, each hero girl spends 1 energy (a total of 3 energy is given). The energy is renewed every 1.5 hours.

After defeat, with energy to spare, you can go back and finish off the boss. With each new level you get a chest with an mLUS token. As the boss levels increase and with each new boss, the amount of token increases. The tougher the boss, the bigger the reward.

Every 24 hours your progress will be reset.

PVP

This is a mode in which players bring their warriors into the arena to compete against other players. Gain experience and learn more skills, and acquire more weapons to increase your power. With each victory you will receive more tokens, experience points, and trophies.

Trophies are needed to race in the leaderboard, and to get a good prize in the form of a token you need to be in a high position at the end of the season.

In Luna Rush there are two options of battle: pairs (against each other) or foursomes, when the first battle takes place in pairs, and then the winners fight for first place.

In-game Achievements

The maximum level of the warrior’s upgrade depends on its rarity. All character upgrade features are not yet available, such as

• Levelling up,
• Every 3 levels there is an upgrade to choose from (characteristics, pets, weapons, skills),
• change of upgrades (can be changed for a Gem (from 15 LUS), which can be purchased in the marketplace).

At this stage of the game’s development, only minting, which was mentioned earlier, is available.

Leveling up

As the player levels up, they may increase the hero’s characteristics, skills, weapons, or pets.

It will be possible to change the skill selection (with an additional change fee).

You should not pick up skills, weapons, pets that your hero already has.

Each characteristic, skill, weapon, pet has 4 levels from low to high: C -> B -> A -> S.

Skills

Skills are upgrades that your hero can gain while leveling up in Luna Rush. Their effects can vary from changing the damage dealt by your strikes, reducing the damage you receive, increasing the probability of certain actions, performing a special attack, and a variety of other effects. There are over 42 skills available in Luna Rush, and the skills gained are displayed on the right side of the warrior’s slot, below the gained weapons and above the gained pets.

Skills are divided into four categories:

• Passive Skills;
• Stat Boosters;
• Supers;
• Talents.

Depending on the rarity of the character, they will have a certain number of skills. Common has only 1 skill, rare has 2 skills, elite has 3 and so on.

Weapons

Weapons are the bonuses you get when you level up. The hero can take out a weapon during battle, which will cause the stats to change depending on the weapon chosen.

Your hero can be disarmed by an opponent who has a certain skill, such as Shock or Iron Head, or with weapons that have the ability to disarm, such as Sai and Trombone. The Sabotage skill will remove a random weapon from the warrior’s inventory each time it hits an opponent. Saboteur will disarm a random weapon as soon as it is taken out by an opponent.

Weapon Types:

• Fast weapons;
• Heavy weapons;
• Long weapons;
• Thrown weapons;
• Sharp Weapon.

Pets

Pets are upgrades that the hero can get during leveling up. The hero can get up to 3 pets: Golem, Tiger and Boar. Pets join your hero from the start of the match and remain until they are knocked out.

Economy

The Luna Rush Token (LUS) is a Luna Rush utility token issued on Binance Smart Chain.

• LUS has a total stock of 350,000,000 tokens.
• As of March 24, the value of the LUS token is $0.1269.
• The highest ever value was $4.96, now the token is dropping fast.
• The game currency is not being burned.

On February 20, the developers announced on social media that they were going to burn the token soon.

How much money you make and how much payback you get.

You need at least one hero to start the game. In the in-game store you can buy a pack for 15 or 22 tokens and depending on luck get a hero of varying rarity. The percentage difference between the two packs is minimal, so we take 15. This is the minimum entry, but you’ll need a team of at least 3 heroes to play comfortably. So, it turns out that you need to spend 45 LUS. The developers consider ROI, payback for a team of 6 common heroes. Game Inn recommends buying 15 heroes at once. With this number the probability of dropping a rarer hero increases, as well as the possibility of minting.

Payback time depends on the number of characters, their rarity and skills. The maximum number of heroes per account is 15. The higher the quality of the hero, the stronger he is.

Let’s calculate on the example of one of the players. When buying two packs for 15 LUS and one for 22 LUS, the player got two Rare and one Elit hero. Killing two bosses per day brings 6.64 LUS. Payback is (22+15+15)/6.64=7 days.

This player is very lucky with the dropped heroes, on average, the payback period is 16–25 days.

The developers introduced a mechanic for withdrawal of cryptocurrency depending on the number of days since the last withdrawal. Therefore, it is most profitable to withdraw tokens on the seventh day.

At this stage, the main earnings in PVE (battle with the boss). By killing the boss, the player gets a chest with different amounts of mLUS. With each new level and boss the amount of reward increases. For example, on a level 1 boss you get 0.19 mLUS, on a level 5 boss already 0.31 mLUS, on level 8 already 0.5 mLUS and so on.

There is also the possibility to make money from special events, such as 1x2 events (betting on a win or loss in the match). Bets on the victory in the arena open 3 minutes before the start of the round. If you lose, you lose your entire bet. Minimum bet is 1 mLUS, maximum 100 mLUS. The reward is 9%.

Future ways to make money in 2022:

• PVP 1v1;
• Lands;
• Daily quests;
• PVP 3v3;
• Tournament;
• Seasonal rewards in PVP;
• With the release of the market sale of lands and heroes;
• Sale of items to fellow clansmen.

Marketplace with hero sales, according to preliminary data, will be launched in the fall of 2022.

How to start playing

1. Log in with your Metamask wallet, you can’t log in without it. Then confirm your request.

2. In order to start playing, you need warriors. In the main menu there is a tab Store. If you are opening x5 or x10 packs, then click on the yellow button x1 and select the desired option. This way you will save on commission.

3. Now that you have a team, click on the main menu Boss Hunt mode. The stages open in order, so we start with the first one. Put a team of three heroes. Each hero has 3 energies. One energy is generated every 1.5 hours. You can send a hero into battle until his energy runs out.

This mode resets once a day, there is a timer at the top of the page. It is advisable to enter every 4.5 hours.

4. Withdrawal of funds is possible, having 1 LUS in wallet. Tab Exchange in the game. Minimum number of tokens to withdraw — 50 LUS.

The first withdrawal will have a fee of 3.5%, next ones will depend on the number of days from the last withdrawal.

Rules

• having multiple accounts is allowed,
• transfer megabox to bypass the game market or sell the account is “not recommended”,
• for using macros, bots, autoclickers accounts gets a ban.

Tester’s Opinion

“Luna Rush game was released and is in its early stages of development, but has not managed to live a month, compared to its competitor BombCrypto (4 months), as the token dropped after the last update with the cutting of rewards and with it a temporary withdrawal blocking. Those who didn’t have time to withdraw before the blocking will have to wait 7 days to withdraw the token with a minimum commission of 3.5% or else have to pay 33% LUS. Such a large commission will also pay those players who have not withdrawn funds for 7 days before.

Developers are losing the trust of the community and the wave of outrage admins censor, edit posts in discord, ban those who put a clown emoji and close chats.

But I want to point out that the site has developer data, real, not drawn pictures, there is LinkedIn. I can’t check it, as I’m not registered”.

Conclusion

Game Inn has invested in Luna Rush, and is now actively testing the game. Guys have purchased packs. 20 packs for 15 LUS and 20 packs for 22 LUS. Of these, 1 Epic, 3 Elite, 7 Rare, and 29 Common have dropped out.

15 heroes are active in the game, that is, their energy is replenished (which hero will be active, you can choose yourself), and the remaining heroes are waiting for their time or used in crossbreeding.
