Why Coding is Important for the Youth of Tomorrow

Many people are wondering how technology seems to be heading. In today’s world, automation is becoming a reality and the need of analytical knowledge is on the rise. I believe that just like math and reading, programming should now be considered as an important subject being offered in schools.

Even after four years, this still sticks true today. Coding isn’t being treated as a top priority in most schools. While it is getting better, here is my plea. In order for us to inspire the next generation of both male and female thought leaders we need to teach them to program.

Even if a child grows up not wanting to be a Data Engineer or a developer, teaching them programming at an early age enhances their analytical thinking. It provides them with a backbone to potentially be inspired to tackle some of the world’s toughest problems.
