Need for Speed 2022 receives support from racing
For some time now, EA has been a new Need for Speed in work, which has not yet been officially announced. Originally, the racing game should come to the market in the first quarter of 2022, but thanks to various reports, we know that Criterion Games, which stuck behind the project, had to assume the meantime in the development of Battlefield 2042. Now the work seems to run in full swing, and the team will support support — from real professionals of the racing game genres.
Codemasters works with Need for Speed
You might remind you that Codemasters has been one of EA for some time. But does not the studio work on Grid Legends? But, the Arcade Racer is still in development. However, Codemasters is a large company with currently four locations. According to the reliable Leaker Tom Henderson, it is Codemasters Cheshire, which should help to complete Need for Speed 2022. Henderson has good contacts at EA and accordingly credible is the leak.

What do we know about the next Need for Speed?
In fact, hardly anything is known about the next title of the Need for Speed series. Will it be a sequel one of the parts published so far or a completely new offshoot? Unfortunately we do not know. However, the fact suggests that the franchise was again given to the hands of Criterion Games, to a kind of reboot of the series. The last offshoot was Hot Pursuit Remastered.

When does Need for Speed appear? Officially nothing, but according to information that also comes from Tom Henderson, the racing game was moved internally. The originally targeted launch until the end of March had to be relocated half a year backwards. Henderson therefore expects a release in September or October 2022 . Accordingly, the title should be announced large at the latest in the summer.
