The Great Ace Attorney 2 Launches August 3 in Japan

Capcom announced during the recent Japanese Nintendo Direct that The Great Ace Attorney 2, a sequel to the 2015 title, releases in Japan on August 3, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS.

The game puts plays in control of protagonist, Ryunosuke Naruhodo, who runs into detective Sherlock Holmes, together they solve mysterious cases all set in 19th century London.

Naruhodo is a college student at the Yuumei University in the Empire of Japan. He travels to the British Empire following an incident and becomes an attorney. After meeting Sherlock Holmes, his journey begins to play out far bigger than he expected.

The original Great Ace Attorney was set near the end of the 19th century and starred Ryūnosuke Naruhodō, an ancestor of Phoenix Wright, and Sherlock Holmes. The original Nintendo 3DS game was never confirmed for release in North America.
