Without a doubt, education is the key for upward mobility. American colleges and universities are extremely expensive compared to other countries. But a college degree is no longer an option. Now that automation is rapidly replacing manual labor, intellectual skills will be the only type of skills rewarded by society. I agree, we need to make colleges accessible by everyone without crippling debt. We subsidize corn production in this country…we can re-prioritize and move these subsidies to higher education.
