“Are you the the Left Twix or the Right Twix”? This Principle Can Propel Your Life Today…

As you know Twix is a yummy candy bar that includes caramel, milk, chocolate, and a butter cookie. It was first founded in 1969 in England, and came to the United States about a decade later.

Not too long after, the Mars Inc. came out with a commercial that displayed the founders splitting the company into two. A commercial that leaves a silly but appetizing feeling in our minds years later.

In it, the founders argued about how they should create the delicious candy bar: flowed caramel & bathed in chocolate, or cascaded caramel & cloaked in chocolate. Allowing us to choose which was between the two, the left Twix or the right Tix. The same candy bar, but with two difference experiences.

Mars Inc. doesn’t have a legitimate answer on which side is better. But for us there is only one. It’s our choice and our own only. A hard decision to make, but nonetheless, one to make.This is just like how we choose the environments we are in. The environment we choose for ourselves will give us two different experiences. But only one will be better for us.
