7:05pm in Panama City.

I sit facing the grand open wall of windows. The view beyond my computer screen is dark, with planes arriving and departing in the distance. Stangers and their Spanish chatter surround me as my mom quietly snores in the seat beside mine.

We had a hell of a day. Shut eye came and went. One hour of sleep here and there. I am anxious to get onto this flight to Asuncion. Yearning for the first sight of tierra roja. The red sand that waits to welcome us home, as we touch down to our mother land; Paraguay.

…the battery on my laptop reminds me it needs some juice and we’re about to board in a few so this journey I’ve just embarked on will be continued.

Until then…

Chau!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
