Social Implications of Periodontal Disease Affecting the Elderly

I don’t think most dentists are crooked, but one time that really made me wonder was when I went in to a local place because of pain in a molar, was told it was an infection and needed a root canal. Seemed like an odd diagnosis, I also had a lot of pain in my jaw muscles, and I have very healthy teeth, never had any cavities or anything. Decided on a second opinion, next woman told me she couldn’t find a single sign of infection and diagnosed me with grinding my teeth. Have since started using a mouth guard and the pain went away.
