Garden Gazebos are a must for any garden. When the sun shines, everyone enjoys spending time outside, but spending too much time outdoors can damage your health. Garden gazebos can reduce that, providing you with the shaded shelter you need. But what about shelter from the rain?
In contrast to other permanent designs, temporary structures are not ideal for windy or rainy weather. They consist of poles and polyethylene covers, so they’re great for sunny days. Permanent gazebos are often made from wood or brick and are intended to remain outdoors all year round. In contrast, garden gazebos are only meant to be used on hot days.
When people purchase gazebos, they intend to install them and leave them up all summer to provide a permanent sheltered area in their gardens. They then find that during a storm the gazebo leaks, or gets damaged during a windy period. When this happens, they complain about the product they bought, believing that it was faulty and not up to standards when, in fact, it was fine but was used in the wrong conditions.

If, however, the wind picks up, the gazebo will struggle more and more to be taken by it. This struggle is often what damages the gazebo.
While garden gazebos are not designed to withstand this kind of weather, they can be a wonderful item when used properly. On a sweltering hot day, you can sit in your garden and be protected from the sun, reducing the risk of sunburn, dehydration and sunstroke. Any family with young children with delicate skin should have a garden gazebo.
