I am writing this blog about Mindanao in The Philippines, not just because it is truly beautiful, but because as my truly beautiful wife is from Davao.
Fortunately, I have had the privilege to visit Mindanao on 4 occasions and it is well worth the experience. I have tried to include some hidden gems & also popular landmarks that I have in fact visited.
In this piece I have tried to include culture, music, society, landmarks, politics, military upheavals. And landmark areas like Davao, Tagum City, General Santos City, My Apo and Zamboanga.
Mindanao is the second-largest island in the Philippines, known for its diverse culture, stunning natural landscapes, and rich history. From the bustling cities of Davao, Tagum City, General Santos City, to the historic city of Zamboanga, Mindanao is a place of contrasts, where tradition and modernity collide.

Culture:
