This reminds me of a seminar where an architect was on stage talking to software designers and the like. At first the software people thought it was joke, but soon the architect made them think about design in more ways than one. He made lots of them of think of a simple idea like separation of context and concern.
How windows could not only create aesthetic pleasure, but also add to functionality of helping light enter a building, or add warmth in the winter and other ideas.
