I still have a problem with following the advice of successful people; it’s “survivorship bias”, what about the people who did all of the things listed here and ended up failures? Those napping, experimenting journaling people who read habitually but ended up broke anyway (incidentally these are the exact chracteristics of every crank inventor who ended up nobodies).

We doesn’t hear about them as they don’t get book publishing deals and no one is clambering for their advice.

If you want to to model success you first have identify EXACTLY what the successful people did that none of the failures did and since there are multiple more failures than successes, these are the people who you should I’ll be learning from.
