Well Done Penny for getting this out in the open. I had a very similar experience with a start up in Montreal in the healthcare space in 2001. Literally all the same issues with the exception of wire fraud. My advice in the start up market is never to join unless you first see a signed contract with a paying customer thus proving that that the product is needed and is of value. Well done for posting!
