🔎 What is AltLayer?
AltLayer is a platform created for decentralized app developers, offering a Rollup-as-a-Service solution. It allows the creation of scalable execution layers (also known as Layer 2) customized for specific applications. AltLayer provides two options: an SDK for developers to handle their rollups and a user-friendly dashboard for quickly creating personalized execution layers, requiring no coding skills.
AltLayer’s testnet comprises four distinct stages, each introducing innovative infrastructure features to establish pioneering benchmarks in roll-up design and implementation. 📌Steps to participate in the Phase II:-
Step 1:- Complete the Galaxe Tasks.
Go to https://galxe.com/altlayer/campaign/GCbkYUNBYs connect your wallet and start completing tasks of rewetting and joining the discord one by one.
Step 2:- Stake On Beacon Layer.
- Go to https://testnet-beacon-faucet.altlayer.io/, sign in with Twitter enter your metamask address and claim the tokens.
- Now go to https://testnet-beacon-stake.altlayer.io, connect your metamask it will add the Becon layer directly to your Metamask.
You can add it manually as well.
- Network name: Beacon Layer testnet
- New RPC URL: https://testnet-beacon-api.altlayer.io/
- Chain ID: 9993
- Currency symbol: ALT
Now Stake on Beacon layer. Click on manage delegation, select one of the validators whose delegation is less than 2050, enter the amount you want to stake, and click on Delegate. If all the validators are full, keep checking every few hours or stay tuned on our telegram group to stay updated.
Step 3:- Stake on Rollup Staking Portal.
- To stake on Rollup Staking Portal you need WETH. For this first, go to https://sepoliafaucet.com/, log in with Alchemy, enter your metamask address, and get ETH.
- Once you got ETH, go to https://weth.altlayer.io/transfer, connect your metamask, deposit ETH, and get WETH.
- Now stake your WETH on Rollup Staking Portal.
Once all tasks have been completed, users can be rewarded with points specifically for Phase II.
