🔎 What is Taiko?
Taiko is dedicated to constructing a decentralized and Ethereum-comparable ZK-EVM (Type 1) that closely mimics Ethereum’s technology and principles. With $22 million raised in funding and the launch of their latest testnet, Alpha-3 (dubbed Grímsvötn), Taiko aims to thoroughly assess network design, components, and economic protocols. This milestone brings them closer to their mission of scaling Ethereum while maintaining decentralization.
📌Steps to participate in the potential airdrop:-
Step 1:- Configure your Metamask wallet with the Ethereum Sepolia Testnet and Taiko Alpha-3 Testnet.
- Go to https://chainlist.org and search for Sepolia and Taiko Alpha-3 including testnets
- Click on “Add to Metamask” and Approve
Step 2:- Get the Faucet.
- Go to https://sepoliafaucet.com and login with your Alchemy account.
- Put your address and click on “Send me ETH”.
Step 3:- Add Some tokens manually to your metamask.
Go to the assets section, click on import tokens, and manually add the following tokens to your Metamask wallet:
- 0x6302744962a0578E814c675B40909e64D9966B0d ( BULL )
- 0xa4505BB7AA37c2B68CfBC92105D10100220748EB ( HORSE )
- 0x7b1a3117B2b9BE3a3C31e5a097c7F890199666aC ( TTKO )
Step 4:- Mint tokens.
- Go to https://bridge.test.taiko.xyz/#/faucet
- Mint each of the available tokens, Bull and Horse, by selecting it from the drop-down list and clicking on Mint.
- You’ll get 50 of each but $TTKO will be distributed shortly after the launch of Alpha-3.
Step 5:- Bridge Tokens.
- Use the bridge to send ETH, HORSE, and BULL from Sepolia to Taiko Alpha-3!
- Go to https://bridge.test.taiko.xyz/#/ and make sure your wallet is connected to the Sepolia network.
- Select the Token and the amount you want and click “Approve” then “Bridge”.
- Txs’ll fail 50% of the time as part of the testing process.
- If you encounter difficulties with Txs go to the “Transaction” tab where you can “claim” manually
- Bridge with all available tokens, ETH, BULL, HORSE
- Bridge back a few amount from Taiko to Sepolia
(Please wait for the relayer to claim the transaction for you. This will happen automatically. Depending on network congestion, this can take up to several hours.)
Step 6:- Swap the Assets.
- Go to https://swap.test.taiko.xyz/#/swap and connect your Wallet on Taiko Alpha-3.
- Select the token you want and the amount.
- Click on “Approve” then “Swap”.
- Do this with all available tokens.
Step 7:- Add liquidity.
- Go to the “pool” tab and click “Add liquidity”.
- Select the token and the amount of the two tokens you want to add to the pool.
- click “Supply” then “Confirm”
Step 8:- Run Node and Deploy Smart Contracts(optional)
