Ans — The minimum lock duration is 7 days.
Q. Will I stop receiving interest after the minimum lock-in period?
Ans — No, you will keep earning interest on your staked tokens until you unstake your tokens.
Q. In which currency will I receive the staking interest?
Ans — Staking rewards/interest will be received in GARI tokens. For example, if you stake 1000 GARI tokens for a year, you will receive approx 100 GARI as interest.
Q. I would like to stake GARI tokens, where can I get GARI Tokens?

Q. Can I make multiple staking transactions?
Ans — Yes
Q. Suppose I stake 100 GARI on Monday, say T1 and 50 GARI on Tuesday, T2 and 50 more GARI on Wednesday, T3. Will my staking time be counted from Monday?
Ans — No, the minimum unlock duration is reset to 0 every time the user makes a new staking transaction. So in this case, the staking timestamp will be counted from Wednesday and not from Monday.
Q. Why am I not able to unstake my tokens even after 7 days of the staking
Ans — All the stake tokens are locked until 7 days after the last staking date. Please check the unlock date for your tokens in the History Section.
Q. What is the maximum lock duration?
Ans — There is no upper limit for Staking duration.
Q. I staked 5 days ago, I will forego interest. Can I unstake now?
Ans — No, once you have staked, you can unstake only after minimum period of 7 days. Even if you want to forego your staking rewards, it isn’t possible till minimum staking period ends.
Q. Do I need to complete my KYC in Chingari app to stake?
Ans — No, you don’t need to complete KYC in Chingari app to stake your GARI Tokens. You just need to activate your GARI wallet in Chingari app to receive GARI Tokens to stake.
Q. Can I withdraw my earned rewards after the minimum lock-in period?
Ans — Yes you can withdraw your earned rewards provided that you have completed your KYC. Remember for Staking no KYC is required, only for withdrawing KYC is needed.
Q. I don’t see stake option in my Chingari app, why?
Ans — Staking is now available on the Chingari app with the 3.7.5 version in Android and the 3.5.6 version on iOS and above. Please update app to the required minimum version to stake your GARI tokens.
Q. Will I be provided private key/seed phrase on Chingari wallet?
Ans — The secret answers you have entered while creating GARI wallet will act as seed phrase for your wallet. Please store your answers in a safe and secured place. But you cannot import Chingari wallet elsewhere.
Q. If I forget my pin, how to reset? What if I forget my security answers?
Ans — If you forget your pin which is needed to stake your GARI Tokens or do any transactions in the wallet, you can simple reset it using secret answers you have entered while creating your GARI wallet. If you forget your secret answers, we cannot help as GARI wallet in Chingari app is non-custodial wallet and we do not store data relating to it.
