Creator Cuts V2 Goes Live! The Easiest Way to Mint Video NFTs on Chingari
World’s fastest growing on-chain social app, Chingari is dedicated to empowering its community of creators and providing them with new ways to monetize their content. We launched Creator Cuts V1 in August last year making it the first ever de-centralized video NFT marketplace where selected videos from Chingari’s top creators are minted as video NFTs. Since its launch, Creator Cuts has received positive response among creators and users as it has helped them monetize their content and reach a wider audience.
Building on the success of our V1 launch, we are excited to introduce Creator Cuts V2 with advanced features that will enhance the NFT creation process for creators and collectors alike.
With V2, Creators can mint a video of their choice, provided it meets the eligibility requirements for vNFTs. The new feature will truly democratize the NFT creation process and give creators more control over their work.
Additionally, users will be able to set an auction type, a base price, revenue sharing percentage and royalty sharing for the videos they wish to convert into vNFTs, giving creators more flexibility in how they monetize their work and allow them to set the terms that work best for them.
Lastly, we are introducing a reselling feature that allows users to trade or resell the vNFTs they own. This feature creates a secondary market for vNFTs and enables creators to reach new audiences, while buyers can invest in unique digital assets that may have a rare value attached to it.
Here is a quick guide on how to mint videos as vNFTs on Chingari
#Step1 — Visit your profile and click on NFT section to view the videos eligible for minting into vNFTs. The videos will be marked as either ‘mint’, ‘listed’, ‘not listed’ and ‘sold’ depending upon the status of such videos as shown in the image.
#Step2- Select the video reflecting ‘Mint’ and click on ‘Mint Now’ or the symbol as shown below
#Step3- Fill the relevant details and click on Create vNFT button. Now, it will prompt you to enter six digits secret pin.
#Step4- Once the transaction is successful, your video is minted as vNFT and available for auction/sale
#Step5- Depending upon whether you want to auction or go for sale, fill the necessary details and hit the ‘Sell vNFT’ button.
#Step6- Thats it! Your vNFT is on sale and can be viewed on Creator Cuts in ‘My vNFT section’.
