Microstorage for Microservices
Garima Kapoor

I am not sure if understood your question correctly. Microstorage is a storage architecture. The idea behind this approach is that you achieve massive scalability by provisioning large number of small storage units. This helps in limiting the failure domain to a manageable size.

Object storage is best suited for persistent long term data. Operational data is highly mutable, short lived and queryable. This kind of data is best suited for database.
