Monday Check-In
Megan Reynolds

I did so many things that I didn’t plan and didn’t do things that I thought I would do, so it’s a good thing I didn’t estimate on Friday because I would have been way off, probably.

Friday night I went out to dinner with my husband. We had a local groupon type thing to tapas place . Would have been $100 but we had $80 in credit, so $40 total with tip.

Saturday we got up and my dad made crepes, which was awesome. Hung out around the house, did some chores for a bit. Then we went over to my teammate’s house. He lives about 20 minutes north of town on an avocado orchard. They sell their hass avocados, but have a handful of different varieties planted around as well that they can’t sell and he’s always offering people to come up and pick them so I took him up on it. I have half of a reusable bag full of avocados which feels like +$100 since they’re so expensive these days (thanks cartels, you dicks). He also gave me a dozen eggs from his chickens. Amazing. I need to go over to his place more often, clearly. Then we made dinner, and got ready to go to a house party. We biked over, everyone loved our costumes and a good time was had by all.

Sunday I got up, went to field hockey, played 3 games, bought lunch out $10. Drove home, switched gear bags and went to the ice rink. Played a game there, had a quick shower beer and went over to some friend’s houses for BLT’s and margaritas. $0

Looks like $50 bucks spent, way too much fun had and not even close to enough sleep.
