I know dude, I wanted to just say absolutely not, that is beyond insane. (I have said no to 3 destination weddings from my own cousins- hilariously enough two of those were from the same cousin). The downside is that would totally crush my husband. He cares a lot about family, and this particular family member.

I hope you do get a killer trip with your husband even if it’s not when you wanted it to be. The hard part is there’s always something that feels like it’s getting in the way.
