How Much I Spent On Hair Products I’ll Never Use Again

I spend an obscene amount on hair products to try to make my hair less frizzy and not turn into one big tangle by 10 pm. I’ve found that tragically more expensive products work significantly better and when they say “a dime size” they mean for people with about 85% less hair than I have.

I don’t use shampoo at the suggestion of my hair stylist, I condition, comb out my hair, then leave in conditioner + some other smoothing goop then tie my hair up in an old tshirt. There’s a combination of kiehl’s + bumble and bumble that makes my hair look pretty decent.

There’s one kiehl’s conditioner that makes my hair look better than any other product on the planet but it also makes my hair smell like some spilled patchouli on a rug and then left it in a damp bathroom for 6 weeks. Just thinking about it gives me the dry heaves.
