So the dutch oven goes in your normal oven, right? I’ve for sure heard people say they’d never leave the house with the oven on BUT WHY? In the off chance that your oven was gonna….blow up? Would you want to be home when that happened? I mean we sit at home for hours with the oven on anyway, what could happen when you’re not home?

Clearly what could happen is that you over cook something to the point that it starts a fire in your oven and the house burns down, but with a covered dutch oven full of liquid on a low temperature it seems like the risk is approaching zero.
