This article speaks to me. Time Warner Cable had a monopoly in Manhattan forever, and when FIOS finally offered a similar service, I led our building’s effort to get them to wire us so we could offer tenants and shareholders an alternative. People left TWC in droves. There is a reason there is a FB page called “I Hate Time Warner.” Spectrum is more of the same, as you point out.
