Why I owned a Macbook Pro for a day — and what it says to me about the future of Apple
John Risby

This reminds me of the infamous colored “shell” laptops of several years ago. The computers were complete dogs. They never worked properly, and perhaps poetically, when I finally junked ours, the day-date said something like the year 1848. The iPhone rescued this company. I have an old 4G and I’ve been waiting to for the new ones to come out to upgrade, but after reading this (and knowing the price will be upwards of $1000), I’m skeptical that it will be worth it. I’m afraid, very afraid.
