We all know that Captain America, also known as Steve Rogers, had many more than just four major moments. This is a character that had some of the biggest moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe history. Captain America was technically the first to join the “Avengers”.

The first major event that I am going to mention is when the “Super Soldier Serum” was injected into Steve Rogers. This event took place in the movie Captain America: The First Avenger. This is obviously very important because without this serum, there would be no Captain America. This special type of serum was invented by Dr. Abraham Erskine, according to Joe Simon. Before Steve Rogers received this transforming serum, he was a small, skinny, slow, and weak. The goal from this was to have a soldier with super strength, super speed, super senses, super reflexes, and much more. With that being said, pretty safe to say that Steve’s life after this was changed forever. Here is a clip from that scene.

The next major moment that occurred for Captain America was the one and only seventy-year coma. In the last minutes of Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve Rogers had no other choice but to crash a plane in the Arctic. He chose to do so instead of crashing in New York City which would have killed hundreds of people most likely. Everyone thought for sure that the plane crash killed him. However, the serum that he received earlier saved him. This kept him from freezing in the Arctic. With that being said, seventy years later Steve Rogers woke up from a coma. Right away, Steve knew something was not right. Once he stood up, a lady walked in to check on him. Steve asked where he was, and she said in a recovery home. However, there was a radio playing an old baseball game from seventy years prior to the current time. Steve Rogers mentioned how he was at that game, so he knew that was a trap. He escaped the fake hospital room that he was in and ended up running into the streets of modern-day looking New York City where he was met by Nick Fury. My favorite part from this moment was when Steve said “I had a date” when responding to Nick Fury. This was interesting to me because if I were to wake up from a seventy-year coma, a date would not be the first thing I thought about. Here is a clip from that scene.

The third major event that I am going to cover is when Captain America and Iron Man went punch for punch in Captain America: Civil War. I would say there was a couple reasons why this happened. One big reason was that Tony Stark found out that Bucky killed his parents. Steve Rogers already knew this, but he did not want to mention that to Tony. After he found out, Tony Stark tried to murder Bucky, that is why Steve did not want to tell Tony. The main reason that Captain America and Iron Man do not get along is because they disagree on if they should be registered with the government. Tony wants to register with the government and Steve thinks it is a very bad idea. However, once Tony found out that Bucky killed his parents, he tried to kill Bucky, Captain America had to step in and save everyone. This fight turned out to be one of the most epic fights in MCU history. During Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve was getting beat up in the back of an alley. While he kept getting punched over and over again, he said “I can do this all day”. After he got beat up by Iron Man he stood back up and said, “I can do this all day”. This was a fun connection to make between the two different films as a fan of MCU. Once Captain America shoved his shield into Iron Man’s chest, he defeated Iron Man. Here is a clip from that scene.

The fourth and final major moment in Captain Americas history that I will be covering is when Steve Rogers gave his shield to Falcon in Avengers: Endgame. At the very end of the film, old Steve Rogers gave Falcon his shield to become the “new” Captain America. Even though we all knew that Chris Evan’s contract with MCU was over, and it was pretty clear he wanted no more of being Captain America, it was still pretty shocking to actually see it. Yes, it is sad that there will be no more Steve Rogers as Captain America. However, it also very exciting that Falcon will now take over as Captain America. Also, in this scene you can see that Steve has a wedding ring on. This means that he did up marrying Peggy Carter. Here is a clip from that scene.
