Why Free Travel Is Good For Your Health
Earlier this year I released a free, badass (if I may say so myself!) guide on Travel Winning, which is the process of using credit card signup bonuses to earn yourself at minimum one free flight this year.
When I first shared the guide, I highlighted how it would help you take that trip you’ve been dying to go on but haven’t, because money. It was framed more as a way to take that vacation, to “escape” if you will, so you could return with awesome memories, a smile on your face and lots of photos using Instagram’s Gingham filter.
Why did I present it that way? Well, because when people think of free travel they often dream of taking vacations to badass places they’ve been planning to go to since ‘Nam. And before I started Travel Winning last year, that’s exactly how I imagined using my free miles too.
Yet this month I used those miles in a different way — one that’s less Instagrammable but personally more exciting. And that’s the story I want to share with you. Because while Travel Winning is absolutely about helping you travel to awesome places and get your vacay on, I’ve realized it’s more than that. It’s about freedom. #Murica.
That freedom will mean different things to different people. For me last year, it did mean gallivanting around the country/world. This year though, it’s about flying to a place where I can get my back therapy on and (fingers crossed) improve my long-term health. One is not better than the other — they were both the right decisions at the right time.
If you want this freedom though, you need to take action! These free miles won’t earn themselves. So make sure to download the guide below. Did I mentioned this guide puts the “free” in freedom?
Once you download it, and as you’re going through the Travel Winning process, just keep in mind what you’re doing it for. Because the purpose of Travel Winning, and really the whole purpose of what I do as a financial coach, is about giving you the freedom to do the things in life that bring you happiness, meaning, and funsies.
