Zayon furniture quality is key

Design

A unique design is always a key element but not always necessary. Designs that are outside the box and not a copy cat design. Coming up with unique designs are one thing but then executing it to be strong and have great function is the key.

Construction

Using solid hard woods always make the furniture more stable. Also knowing how to attach parts so they do not come apart under heavy use. Shown in the picture above how a quality drawer is made. This drawer is made with 3/4" oak, a very hard wood, and is box jointed and doweled together- no glue needed.

Leg ready for mounting

Mounting the legs for strength

The legs are designed for great looks but are also very strong. You have the double beams that attach to the mount block that are not only glued but screwed together. Using dowels in this situation would end up coming apart like you see in many chairs. Also the mounting blocks are screwed into place with machine screws and bolts to insure they will not come apart.

Amazing wood grain.

Solid woods are great because if you damage them they are a lot easier to repair. With veneer it can peel away and if it gets a deep dent or scratch it is very hard to repair. A solid wood is used on this desk and is a rare exotic wood that enhances the design. The boire wood is also a hard wood.

Quality parts make quality pieces

The drawers have 100 lb capacity slides that will not fall apart under heavy use. They also have a lock point when the drawers are closed it keeps the drawers shut. Also used are high quality adjustable feet; very important not all floors are always level so when they have the adjustable feet you do not have to worry about the desk wobbling.
