The 40 Books That Saved My Life
James Altucher

I’ll give you three books for one : ‘The Rosy Crucifixion’ trilogy by Henry Miller. Comprised of ‘Sexus’, ‘Plexus’ and ‘Nexus’, the books are famous for introducing sexuality as something worthy of attention, as well evoking an atmosphere of liberation and a palpable sense of place (New York and Paris.)

Less we’ll known, though, is how excellent these books are on the process of writing and creation, on procrastination and achievement, disappointment, self-sabotage and self-discipline. It’s all in here, empathetic and triumphant, and well worth the time of anyone engaged in a project, writing or otherwise.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
